Ludlow, VT Memorial Day

What a great place! Going from the traffic jams of RDU, to a village in central Vermont is insane! I love it here even though I am over 700 miles from any person I know and not even in the same hemisphere as the woman I am engaged to marry. I am choosing to look at it as an adventure, a growing experience, and I think I could learn a lot from the people of this town and the way they conduct tehm selves. For example today I woke up and looked outside to see festivities to honor the Men and Women who have fought and died for my freedom. This day means something here, it is not an excuse to get out of work or to go to the lake, it is about remembering those who gave all they had and asked for nothing in return. Please pray that the families of those in battle, and the men fighting to preserve our freedom will be comforted by knowing that no matter what God loves them and if they only ask, he will sustain them all the days of their lives.
