School gets in the way of life

School gets in the way of life. That is profound. It is interesting to see how before college your entire life is supposedly building towards it. It is important to get good grades so you can get in the right honors and AP classes so your GPA will be good so you can get into the right college. You even see people in high school who join clubs they care nothing about just for their college application. And then there are the essays, which might as well be a place for students to agree with what the university thinks.
My point is this: i feel as if you are taught that college education transcends everything, but the truth of the matter is that after four or five or six or seven years it is possible that you can be no wiser for all the college loans and all nighters. I feel it is important to live life simply to live life, and not just to jump through hoops.
